About

My name is Mallory Lewis, and I have been a teacher at Stephen Mack Middle School in Rockton, IL for four years. I’m proud to call myself a Warrior! I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s in Middle Level Education. I have a background in reading and language arts education, as well as a minor in Spanish. I’m currently working towards a Master’s in Teaching and Learning.

I have lived in the Roscoe/Rockton area my entire life. I’m thrilled to be able to give back to my amazing community by doing what I love!

I love reading, baking (and eating sweets), writing, shopping, crafting, playing games, and traveling. I’m married and have a wonderful mom, dad, younger sister, and younger brother.

I am excited to begin writing about my teaching journey and sharing my thoughts, ideas, and epiphanies with fellow educators. Much of my thinking is consumed by thoughts regarding education, so I’ve come to reveal my thinking aloud!
